HUANGZIRUN

(b. 2003, China)

An artist must do art properly.

About

Huang Zirun is a Chinese artist currently completing an MA in Photography at the Royal College of Art. His practice examines how images, institutional language and systems of classification produce authority, shape identity and organise the desire for success.

Working across photography, moving image, installation, fictional archives and web-based projects, he reconstructs administrative and professional structures through absurdity, deadpan humour and controlled misdirection.
